Solar powered clothes dryers are a great idea in theory. They would be environmentally friendly and could potentially save customers money on their energy bills.
However, there are a few reasons why the product never really took off in the early 1990s.
Many people claim that Steve Comisar probably made an attempt to outsmart the public by marketing his idea in a way that appeared welcoming. When in reality he only sold mere clotheslines at a blown price. People who bought it after receiving the product were amused and disappointed at the same time.

Is There Solar Powered Clothes Dryer?

However, that’s an invention that’s yet to be realized and made readily available to the public.

Though solar powered clothes dryers never really took off in the early 1990s, the idea is still a good one. With today’s technology, there are many ways to improve on Steve Comisar’s original “design”.
